As we prepare for the holidays, everyone at Centro Linguistico would like to celebrate this time by sharing one of our favourite holiday recipes sure to be found on most American and British tables during the holiday season!
Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients:
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
1 (15 oz.) can Pumpkin
1 (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 220 degrees C. In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except pastry shell; mix well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 177 degrees C; bake 35-40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Cool. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
